The tiny old lady in the coffee shop, swallowed up by the comfy chair, with her hat and coat still on. She hasn't bought a coffee. She has one hand on her handbag, the other on her shopping, both held in her lap. Looking around her, but otherwise motionless and silent, she's near-invisible amidst the sociable groups of twos and fives, the solitary readers and the lap-top tappers.
