Winds gusting to hurricane force off Lands End sank an Icelandic ship; the crew were rescued by lifeboat and helicopter.
"It was incredible how [the helicopter] kept its searchlight pinned on the lifeboat for us. Without that, we would never have had a chance," said the ship's captain.
