A grandmother has admitted to suffocating her newborn son over 50 years ago, when she was 15, because he wouldn't stop crying. She said, "I can't take no more of the pain." She was given a suspended sentence, in light of her feelings of guilt, but her daughter has said she'll never forgive her mother for staying silent even when suspicion initially centred on her late father.
